A
modern day fable, based on the classic Don Quixote, set in a small town
on the Texas-Mexican border. On one side, a gang of vigilante ranchers
stands dead-set on rounding up illegal aliens crossing the border. On
the other, an elementary school history teacher, obsessed with America’s
revolutionary past and by the need to stand up for his radical beliefs.
Frustrated by his failure to change the minds of the citizens of Borderland,
the teacher’s passion throws him over the edge and into a rebellious
alter ego still fighting the American Revolution. In the name of Lady
Liberty, this modern day Don Quixote rides courageously towards a confrontation
with the ranchers, and his date with destiny.

Brody
Campbell has failed as a writer, a father, a friend, and a lover. Shortly
after the wedding of a childhood friend (and former lover), Brody begins
to realize that something strange and terrible is beginning to happen
around him… people are disappearing without a trace, and only Brody
seems to remember that they existed at all. Brody soon finds that there
is a specific pattern to these disappearances, and must struggle to protect
those he cares about the most from forces he may never understand. Equal
parts supernatural mystery and moving drama, this haunting, thoughtful
film will resonate long after the credits roll.

A
truly mad concoction, blending 1950s juvenile delinquents, sci-fi melodrama,
song-and-dance, and a touch of horror, everything in just the right
combination to create an engaging big screen spectacle! This curious
and curiously entertaining story involves one Jonathan Xavier and his
devoted misfit gang who, incidentally, have been exiled to Earth from
the far reaches of outer space. Johnny's former girlfriend Bliss has
left him and stolen his Resurrection Suit, a cosmic, mind-bending uniform
that gives the owner power over others. Along the way, there will be
several highly stylized musical numbers, lots of genuinely humorous
dialogue, and a wacky plot-twist or two, all beautifully captured on
the very last of Kodak's black-and-white Plus-X film stock.beautifully
